About Us

Nurdan, founder of P4Pottery, working with clay on the pottery wheel .

For years I taught in classrooms. Pottery showed me a different way to teach — through creativity, curiosity, and making. P4Pottery was born from the belief that learning should be hands-on, meaningful, and deeply rewarding.

P4Pottery grew from a lifelong love of making. Founded by teacher, designer, and passionate creative Nurdan, the studio reflects years of exploring a wide range of creative pursuits. From sewing, quilting, crochet, and costume making to pottery, making by hand has always been at the heart of her life.

Her journey with clay began in Argentina in 2016, where pottery became a grounding creative outlet while studying communications design and raising two young children.

Back in Canberra, she continued developing her skills through classes, workshops, and ongoing learning, believing that every potter remains a student.

What began as a small pottery business in the corner of her home garage gradually evolved into P4Pottery — a welcoming ceramics studio where people can slow down, learn new skills, explore creativity, and connect through clay.

Through classes, workshops, memberships, and shared studio experiences, P4Pottery aims to make ceramics approachable, rewarding, and inspiring for beginners and experienced makers alike.

Learn well. Create freely.

A warm, welcoming creative hub for pottery classes, workshops and other artistic experiences where ideas are encouraged, friendships are made, and projects take shape.
